By booking and paying for a Mischievous Spirits Event, you automatically agree to the following Terms and Conditions: IMPORTANT: If we suspect anyone of being under the influence of drugs or alcohol then they will not be allowed entry in to the investigation, under any circumstances due to Health & Safety reasons.
All attendees must be over the age of 18.
All attendees must be of reasonable health and able bodied as our overnight events incorporate lots of walking and standing (inside and outside where applicable), sometimes in locations with uneven flooring and almost always in the dark.
Due to the above circumstances, it is unadvisable for pregnant women to attend one of our overnight events. Anyone that books knowing they are pregnant does so at their own risk and Mischievous Spirits will not be held accountable.
Everyone attending a Mischievous Spirits event must bring their own torch for health and safety purposes, as most of the evening will be spent walking around unfamiliar surroundings in the dark (inside and outside where applicable).
Smoking is not permitted inside any of our locations. You will be informed of designated smoking areas on the night.
As this is an overnight investigation, there are no sleeping facilities whatsoever. All our events require attendees to stay awake all night.
Please respect the property and all of its contents (furniture, décor, fixtures and fittings etc) as these locations belong to someone else. Please respect that this is their property and they are allowing us to conduct our research there out of trust.
Throughout the event all members of the group will act in a sensible manner and will not cause harm or injury to anyone else in the group and will respect the property, its contents and surroundings.
Transport is NOT included on any Mischievous Spirits event. All participants attending a Mischievous Spirits Investigation will make their own way to and from the locations. It is not the responsibility of Mischievous Spirits to provide transport.
You are staying at the location at your own risk; we accept no liability for any accident or injury to yourselves, however caused. Your own personal insurance is advisable.
All stories about the location are not fabricated but Mischievous Spirits cannot guarantee that paranormal activity will take place on the night you stay.
For safety reasons, the group must stay together at all times. Should anyone need to separate from the group then they should go in pairs and notify one of the Group Founders.
Mischievous Spirits will not be liable for any loss or damage to equipment/belongings to the participants before, during or after the event.
Mischievous Spirits shall have no liability to attendees for any loss, damage, costs, expenses or other claims for compensation arising from these activities, save in respect of death or personal injury caused by Mischievous Spirits’ negligence.
All personal belongings, bags, clothing, equipment, vehicles and effects belonging to you or your party are your own responsibility. Mischievous Spirits are NOT responsible for the safe custody of participants’ property for its loss, damage or theft.
By agreeing to these terms and conditions you further indemnify the organisers/promoters from and against all legal liability in respect of any lost costs for payment/booking of event, loss of or damage to personal property, costs, claims, damages, demands, penalties, actions, proceedings, suits, losses or expenses in respect of or arising out of the injury to or the death of any person, or damage to any property arising from your participation in the activity. Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully as you will be required to sign to say you understand them before each investigation begins for Insurance purposes MISCHIEVOUS SPIRITS REFUND POLICY
If you cancel within seven (7) working days of booking any event, we will issue a full refund, minus a 10%* administration charge.
Requests for a refund between two (2) weeks of booking an event, and five (5) weeks before the actual event, will be paid minus a 50%* cancellation charge.
No refunds will be given less than five (5) weeks prior to any event.
Any person not attending the event on the night due to reasons of their own, will not be entitled to a refund.
* This percentage relates to the FULL cost of the event.
If you cannot attend an event then please contact us as soon as possible, even if it is less than four weeks so that we are aware you will not be attending, thank you.
